Leading AI company Anthropic has recently announced that its Claude series of large models are now officially available on the Microsoft Foundry (Azure AI Foundry) platform. This move means that enterprise users can now seamlessly deploy and call top-tier Claude large models directly within the Microsoft Azure cloud environment.

The models launched include the flagship model Claude Opus 4.8, which excels in complex reasoning, as well as the cost-effective compact model Claude Haiku 4.5. These models retain core cutting-edge capabilities such as prompt caching and extended thinking, and are perfectly suited for advanced applications such as complex programming and intelligent agents.

Cloud Hosting Offers High Flexibility

To ensure that existing workflows of enterprise customers are not affected, the service is fully integrated with Microsoft's existing identity authentication, billing, and unified governance systems. Enterprise users can directly use their existing Azure accounts and compliance processes to manage and use the Claude large models without adjusting their security architecture.

In terms of computing power hosting, both companies have provided enterprises with high flexibility, allowing users to freely choose whether to run inference tasks on the Microsoft Azure environment or Anthropic's hosted cloud. Both companies stated that they will gradually align the functions and model versions of their platforms, further breaking down ecological barriers.
