ByteDance's AI large model application Douyin App has recently officially launched an in-app navigation feature called "Douyin Navigation" (displayed as "Light Navigation" for some users). By integrating Baidu Map's underlying map technology, it achieves a native navigation experience within the app, further expanding the application boundaries of AI large models in spatial travel scenarios.

This feature is based on a scenario-specific differentiated service logic. For walking and cycling routes, users can directly activate the built-in "Douyin Navigation" within the Douyin App to complete the native navigation process, or choose AutoNavi Map independently. For driving and public transportation routes, the system will automatically redirect to AutoNavi Map. In terms of user experience, "Douyin Navigation" deeply integrates AI voice and text input capabilities. Users can simply input their destination through voice or text to start navigation, and it supports real-time voice announcements and a floating window mode, ensuring seamless switching and use of other functions during navigation.
