The speed at which artificial intelligence is penetrating the workplace is far beyond expectations. The latest in-depth survey released by the large model unicorn company Anthropic shows that nearly half of Claude users believe AI can now independently handle half or more of their daily work tasks.
Among the approximately 9,700 users surveyed, 33% said AI can handle 30% to 60% of their work, and 14% of users even believe this proportion reaches 60% to 90%. More than 4% of "heavy users" stated that Claude can almost completely take over all their work, indicating that the potential of AI as a productivity tool is being deeply unlocked.
Focusing on content creation, heavy users are more optimistic about career prospects
Looking at practical application scenarios, AI has shown remarkable performance in handling text and data. Data shows that more than 80% of respondents frequently use Claude for database queries, blog or article writing, and creating various marketing copy, these areas have become the main fields where AI is being applied.
Interestingly, frequent use of AI has not caused anxiety among professionals. The survey found that heavy users of Claude are actually the most optimistic about their future career prospects. They generally believe that with the support of AI, their professional value and core competitiveness have been significantly enhanced.
Refusing to be replaced, human-machine collaboration becomes the mainstream expectation for the future
Looking ahead to changes in the workplace over the next year, about 26% of users expect AI to take over most of their work. Although technological advancements are rapid, the majority of respondents did not feel threatened by technology replacement, but rather had more rational expectations for the future.
In terms of attitude towards AI, most people tend to establish a new type of "human-machine collaboration" working model. They eagerly anticipate AI taking over those tedious and repetitive assembly-line tasks, and strongly hope that the benefits brought by technological progress will be widely shared by society, rather than simply evolving into replacing human labor with machines.
