On June 23, Meta announced a new deep collaboration with global eyewear giant EssilorLuxottica, officially launching a new smart glasses series - Meta Glasses. As Meta's first AI hardware that is natively equipped with the Muse Spark multimodal large model since its release, the product's launch marks an important upgrade in form and capability for all-day edge AI assistants.
The Meta Glasses series is priced at $299 upon release, with three frame styles available: Meta Adventurer (standard and large sizes), Meta Fury, and a slim oval design created by Kylie Jenner. It offers 26 combinations of various colors, lenses, and frames, fully supporting prescription lenses.

In terms of core specifications and features, the series includes a three-way adjustable nose bridge, with a single charge providing over 8 hours of battery life. When used with a portable folding charging case, it can provide an additional 4 charges, resulting in a maximum total battery life of 40 hours. The hardware includes dedicated operation buttons, open-ear dual speakers, and advanced microphone arrays, supporting high-fidelity audio playback, full-hand gesture hands-free photography, and intelligent noise-canceling calls.

Additionally, Meta announced the simultaneous launch of the "Dynamic Photo" multi-frame smart recommendation feature this month and plans to launch screenless pedestrian and navigation alerts soon. It will also expand real-time translation languages to include 14 languages, including Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Hindi, and Korean. Currently, the model's capabilities have also been rolled out to Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta users in the United States and Canada.
