As the wave of generative AI sweeps through the content industry, the production model of the film and television industry is undergoing unprecedented transformation. On June 7th, during the launch event of Huace AIGC High-tech Film and Television Creation Center held in Tonglu, the emerging force in the AI field, Shengshu Technology, officially formed a strategic partnership with the film giant Huace Film. The two parties will focus on the deep industrial application of AI video generation technology, working together to explore new possibilities in film and television creation.
This collaboration is not simply about resource integration, but aims to build a closed loop from the technical foundation to the creative ecosystem. According to information, the two parties will use the Huace Film Science and Technology Industry-education Integration Demonstration Zone as a physical carrier, jointly establishing an "AI Audiovisual Creation Center." This center will take Shengshu Technology's self-developed Vidu video generation large model as its core technological engine, deeply integrating AI virtual production with traditional film and television shooting techniques. Not only will they produce high-quality audiovisual works, but they also aim to form a set of AI video production standardization capabilities that can be promoted across the entire industry.
To address the urgent demand for "AI-savvy film and television talents" in the industry, industry-education integration has been placed at a key position in the strategic cooperation. The two parties will establish a specialized teaching site within the Zhejiang Huace Film and Television School, jointly developing a professional curriculum in "AI Film and Television Creation." This educational system will break through the barriers of traditional directing and technical skills, by incorporating the application of AI video tools into the core teaching, aiming to cultivate a group of composite content creators who have both traditional aesthetic foundations and expertise in AI toolchains, thus providing core strength for the long-term development of China's film and television industry.
In specific production practices, the two parties will promote the "on-site shooting + AI" integrated solution, prioritizing pilot projects in multiple film and television projects of Huace. Through the involvement of AI technology, the production efficiency will be effectively improved, and the trial and error costs in production will be significantly reduced through intelligent generation, while ensuring quality.
Additionally, the two parties are focusing on building a healthy creator ecosystem loop. Huace Film will integrate the relevant supporting policies of the Tonglu base, and Shengshu Technology will connect and guide super creators from the Vidu community to move in. By promoting creators to register local entities, they aim to achieve seamless integration of regional industrial policies, film and television production orders, and cutting-edge creative capabilities, striving to bring AI video technology out of the laboratory and truly enter real and efficient industrialized film and television production processes.
Industry insiders analyze that this strong alliance marks that AI video technology is accelerating from a single creative assistant to complete industrial production links in the film and television field. With the continuous release of Vidu large model capabilities, China's film and television industry may be entering a new growth momentum in the process of intelligence, industrialization, and globalization.
