The game tablet market is about to welcome a performance monster. According to the latest industry news, the Red Magic Game Tablet 5 Pro, which was previously announced to be released in June, has now officially been certified. The new device not only maximizes hardware configurations but also introduces an ultra-high refresh rate of up to 185Hz for the first time in its class, combined with an 80W fast charging specification, aiming to redefine the performance ceiling of gaming tablets.

As a productivity and entertainment tool targeting hardcore gamers, the Red Magic Game Tablet 5 Pro has made aggressive upgrades in visual and control experience. The front of the device features a 9-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 2400×1504. In addition to the first-ever 185Hz refresh rate, the screen's peak brightness reaches 2600 nits, and it is equipped with a kilohertz-level touch sampling rate, aiming to significantly improve the responsiveness and smoothness of mobile games during intense matches.

Underneath, the new device is unsurprisingly equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 flagship processor. To tame this powerful heart, Red Magic has provided a dual PC-level cooling architecture composed of its self-developed liquid cooling loop and turbo fan. The large cooling surface area allows the device to maintain superior temperature control performance even under long-term high-load gaming scenarios. In terms of storage, the new device offers great flexibility, including four configurations: 12GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, 16GB+1TB, and the top-of-the-line 24GB+1TB.

The battery life and gaming details are also highlights of this device. The Red Magic Game Tablet 5 Pro is equipped with an 8300mAh large battery and comes with an 80W wired fast charger. Notably, the device also features a bypass charging technology that allows power to be directly supplied to the system without passing through the battery, effectively avoiding overheating and frequency reduction caused by charging while playing. In terms of design, the new device continues the iconic transparent back cover with a氘锋 (Dawn-Fang) style and RGB lighting effects, offering three color options: Silver Wing, Dark Night, and Noble Gold Legend. The body thickness is controlled at 7.2mm, and the overall weight is approximately 375g.

Aside from the robust hardware, the integration of soft power has become a key part of this iteration. At the system level, the device deeply integrates the Daobao Large Model, enabling practical AI functions such as voice queries for game guides, analysis of match data, and one-click generation of equipment schemes, expanding intelligent interaction scenarios beyond gaming. Combined with its self-developed CUBE Qinger gaming engine and dedicated gaming touch chip, the new device has undergone specialized optimization for frame interpolation, network stability, and anti-accidental touch. With the introduction of Red Magic's first new interface design, symmetrical speakers, and dual X-axis motors, the overall gaming immersion has been comprehensively enhanced.

Due to the general increase in supply chain costs for storage components and other elements globally this year, the industry predicts that the price of this new generation of gaming flagship will rise. As a reference, the starting price of the previous generation Red Magic Gaming Tablet 3Pro was 3999 yuan. The final pricing of the new device is expected to be officially revealed at the launch event this month.
