Alibaba Cloud BaiLian announced on May 29, 2026, the full CLI (Command Line Interface) transformation and simultaneously opened its CLI project to developers around the world. This move marks a comprehensive integration transformation in the access and development of AI Agents.
Considering the complex practical application scenarios of AI Agents, Alibaba Cloud BaiLian CLI encapsulates core capabilities such as mainstream models, application workflows, knowledge base retrieval, long-term memory management, online search, and local multimodal file processing into a lightweight, scriptable command-line interface. After installation and authentication configuration, developers can quickly call BaiLian platform capabilities within mainstream AI Agent frameworks such as Claude Code, Qoder, Qwen Code, OpenClaw, and Hermes Agent with just "one line of command."

In the current evolution of AI Native technology, the practical implementation of AI Agents often faces the pain points of needing to connect to multiple different APIs, authentication methods, and parameter structures. The release of Alibaba Cloud BaiLian CLI realizes a strategic shift from single model calls to complex multi-capability collaboration. Through this tool, agents can not only efficiently handle cross-modal tasks but also combine real-time information obtained from online searches with enterprise knowledge bases and long-term memory for structured output, thus building more business-oriented enterprise-level intelligent assistants.
