On May 26, at the Alipay AI Payment Ecosystem Conference, the CEO of Ant Group, Han Xinyi, said: "Under the AI era, the essence of business remains unchanged, but the new role of intelligent agents is redefining everything. Alipay, with its 22 years of technological accumulation and business know-how, has built a new AI payment service to help accelerate the development of the new business ecosystem."

Han Xinyi believes that in the era of the agent economy, the essence of business and the fact that AI ultimately serves people remain unchanged. The difference lies in that the subject of payment shifts from humans to AI Agents, the continuity of service is ensured by computing power scheduling, and it supports seamless payments. Due to the fragmented nature of service scenarios, micro-payments have become a new demand. AI payments will be widely applied in scenarios such as content consumption and data authorization, and the cost of payments will significantly decrease, activating the long-tail economy. The form of payment will thus undergo a new revolution - payment will evolve into a central hub for value scheduling, carrying the circulation and value conversion of multi-dimensional digital assets.

Han Xinyi said that Alipay aims to be a connector and enabler in the Agent era. Based on this, Alipay launched the world's first Token Pay service and AI wallet at this AI payment ecosystem conference, along with previously released AI Pay and AI Receive, officially completing the construction of a full-stack AI-native payment system for the AI era.

Latest data shows that following the previous milestone of breaking one billion payment transactions and one billion users, the number of Alipay payment transactions for intelligent agents has reached a new high of three billion, supporting 95% general intelligent agent frameworks, becoming the world's first large-scale commercial AI-native payment infrastructure.
