Recently, the AI unicorn company Anthropic announced on a social media platform that it has made significant performance upgrades to its existing AI toolchain. The core focus of this update is on the widely praised visual creation tools and code tools specifically designed for programmers, aiming to improve users' actual creative efficiency by significantly relaxing restrictions.
In this update, the visual creation tool Claude Design, which was launched last month, has seen a dramatic increase in its quota. In all subscription plans including Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise, the token usage limit has been doubled. This move has completely solved the pain point for creators who had to forcibly split tasks due to quota limitations when handling complex design projects.

Code Editor Defaults to New Model
In addition to doubling the quota of the visual tools, the command-line code tool for software developers, Claude Code, has also undergone an important adjustment. The built-in fast mode now defaults to the more advanced Opus 4.7 model.
Developers can simply enter the "/fast" command in the terminal to activate this high-speed configuration with one click. Official test data shows that the response speed of the new model can increase directly to 2.5 times that of the previous version in this mode.
High Throughput for Interactive Frequent Optimization
Due to its extremely high throughput efficiency, this fast mode is mainly used for high-frequency and real-time interactive tasks. Whether it's rapid iteration of code changes, real-time capture and debugging of system vulnerabilities, or handling urgent development tasks with tight time requirements, it can provide powerful computing support.
Regarding pricing, the cost of Opus 4.7 in fast mode remains exactly the same as the previous 4.6 version. The charge for input tokens is $30 per million, and for output tokens it is $150, with a full 1 million token long context window coverage.
