On April 24, during the Beijing Auto Show, Alipay and Zhi Ma Intelligent jointly launched a new AI cockpit solution that integrates Alipay's "AI Pay" car version. This marks a new stage in intelligent cockpits, moving from "being able to listen and speak" to "being able to pay and handle tasks." Currently, this solution covers two high-frequency scenarios: entertainment and travel life. Car owners can complete AI consumption services such as buying tickets, booking hotels, and ordering meals with just voice commands.

"In the past two years, intelligent cockpits have made significant progress in perception and decision-making capabilities. After large models are applied to vehicles, cars can understand and recommend, but at the final step, users still need to take out their phones to scan a code for payment — this is the last gap in the AI cockpit experience," said CPO Cai Ming of Zhi Ma Intelligent on site. "Integrating Alipay's AI Pay car version means this gap has been completely closed."
Intelligence has fully surpassed electrification as the core battlefield for car manufacturers. Payment, as the final link in in-vehicle services, is crucial for creating an overall closed-loop experience. Currently, most intelligent cockpits have not evolved to the level of native AI payments. Zhi Ma Intelligent integrating Alipay's AI Pay car version is precisely filling this critical service gap.
Alipay's AI Pay car version is not simply transferring mobile payments into the vehicle system, but rather reengineering payment capabilities with AI Agent as the core engine. Based on Zhi Ma's Yuan Shen AI natural language understanding capability, users can complete the entire process from service activation, information confirmation to payment settlement with just voice commands — "Buy two movie tickets for me." The AI will select showtimes and seats, and the driver can complete the payment by voice confirmation, without any need to switch or scan a code.

For in-car AI shopping scenarios, Zhi Ma Intelligent has made special adaptations with Alipay's voiceprint recognition, multi-dimensional risk control, and real-time anti-fraud capabilities to ensure each transaction is "convenient without compromising security, and secure without sacrificing experience." Currently, this new intelligent cockpit solution has completed technical integration with several major original equipment manufacturers, and related services are planned to be gradually launched with new models in the second half of 2026.
