Tesla (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. has taken a critical step in the localization of its smart cockpit. According to an announcement released by Net Information Shanghai, Tesla's vehicle voice large model service has officially completed the filing for generative AI service on April 20th.

This means that Tesla's voice interaction system in China will now be integrated with more powerful generative AI capabilities. This move not only complies with domestic regulatory requirements but also signals that Chinese Tesla owners will soon experience more intelligent and natural voice control and cockpit interaction services.

In fact, this is not the first time Tesla has filed for an AI model in China. Earlier last November, Tesla's xBot customer service became one of the first foreign company large models approved for launch, mainly used to answer user questions and engage in multi-turn conversations.

The filing of this vehicle voice large model marks the deep integration of AI technology from mobile app-based customer service into the core of vehicle interaction. By deeply understanding users' natural language input, the new system will provide more logical and emotionally warm responses.
