Alibaba Cloud announced adjustments to the default API call rate limiting of its BaiLian multimodal interaction development kit. According to the notice, this adjustment will take effect on April 28, 2026. The new default rate limit will be set to 10 requests per second (QPS) to optimize resource scheduling and overall service stability on the platform.
The specific regulations for this rate limit adjustment state that the new limit supports creating 600 sessions per minute, and 36,000 sessions per hour. This quota is designed to meet the needs of most development testing and daily business scenarios, ensuring users have a more stable experience while using the service.
Alibaba Cloud stated that customers who have already applied for a rate limit adjustment will not be affected by this change and can continue to make API calls according to their original agreement. This measure is part of Alibaba Cloud's ongoing efforts to enhance user service experience, aiming to promote the development and application of intelligent interaction technology through reasonable resource allocation.
