On March 12, 2026, the website building and hosting platform Webflow officially announced the acquisition of the AI content generation startup Vidoso, aiming to position its products from traditional website building tools and content management systems (CMS) to a comprehensive intelligent agent marketing platform by integrating cutting-edge generative AI technology.

Vidoso, founded in 2024, had previously raised $3.7 million in funding from institutions such as Aspenwood Ventures. The platform uses large language models to automate the production of cross-media marketing materials, including quickly transforming keynote speeches or workshop content into short videos, blog articles, and social media posts. After this transaction, the four-member core team of Vidoso will be fully integrated into Webflow.

AI, artificial intelligence

Webflow's CEO Linda Tong pointed out that although there are numerous general AI content tools on the market, the generated assets often struggle to be directly used in production due to a lack of understanding of brand-specific systems, rules, and approval processes. Vidoso's core value lies in bridging the gap between "general AI generation" and "brand consistency," making AI outputs controllable and ready for production.

This is another important strategic move for Webflow following its 2024 acquisition of the personalization startup Intellimize and the launch of Google Ads integration. In the context of intense competition in AI-driven marketing automation, Webflow is trying to solve the pain points of departmental fragmentation and data silos in brand marketing by establishing a closed loop that connects content creation, distribution, event management, and performance tracking. This move indicates that Webflow is committed to building a content lifecycle system capable of self-learning and continuous optimization, reshaping its core competitiveness in the competitive Web3.0 marketing market through deep integration of brand-specific data and workflows.
