On March 3, the research institution Quest Mobile released the "Core Report on the Development of AI Applications in 2025," which shows that by December 2025, the top five AI-native apps by monthly active users in the market are Doubao, DeepSeek, Yuanbao, Ant Afu, and Alibaba Qwen. Ant Group's general AI assistant, Lingguang, launched in November 2024, also entered the top ten.

The Quest Mobile report analyzed that in 2025, domestic AI applications showed a trend from "general coverage" to "scenario penetration": among the top ten AI apps by monthly active users, six were general AI apps, and four were specialized AI apps for specific scenarios. Among them, Ant Afu, a professional AI app for the health scenario, became popular after its launch in June 2025 and ranked among the top five within half a year.
From an industry perspective, six of the top ten AI-native apps belong to ByteDance and Alibaba groups. ByteDance has three apps on the list: Doubao, Doubao Aixue, and Ji Meng AI. Alibaba and Ant also have three apps on the list: Afu, Qwen, and Lingguang.
