According to foreign media, Apple is fully advancing the development of three AI wearable devices, including AI smart glasses, AI pins or pendants (AI pin or pendant), and AI AirPods with a camera. These devices are designed to seamlessly connect with iPhones and deeply interact with the more intelligent version of Siri currently under development.

It is reported that all three new products will integrate camera functions, allowing the AI to "understand" the wearer's surroundings and provide immediate answers to related questions.

Among them, Apple's smart glasses are seen as strong competitors to Meta's Ray-Ban glasses. Apple has provided prototypes to the hardware engineering team and set a 2027 launch target, with production possibly starting as early as December 2026. The glasses will be equipped with an advanced camera system, including a high-resolution camera for taking photos and videos, as well as a camera dedicated to providing visual information and environmental awareness to Siri, which can interpret the user's surroundings and measure distances. Notably, Apple's smart glasses will eliminate the display screen design and instead interact with users through a voice interface, supporting functions such as making calls, listening to music, taking photos, and recording videos. In addition, the glasses may have visual intelligence features, such as reading physical text and adding it to the calendar, as well as providing context-aware reminders and real-time translation services. In terms of material selection, Apple is committed to using high-end materials to create a premium feel, distinguishing itself from Meta's products.

Meanwhile, Apple's development of the AI pin or pendant is still in its early stages but has also attracted significant attention. This device may debut as early as 2027, featuring a low-resolution camera for visual perception but not for taking photos or videos. The built-in microphone will be used for interacting with Siri, while the iPhone will handle most of the processing tasks. The AI pin may include a speaker for two-way conversations and can be attached to clothing or bags via a clip or pendant. Apple plans to market it as an iPhone accessory rather than an independent product.

In the audio field, Apple is also exploring new possibilities. The development of AI-enabled AirPods with a camera is progressing relatively quickly, with plans to launch them as early as this year. Like the AI pin, the AirPods will be equipped with a low-resolution camera for information retrieval, not for taking photos.
