Recently, the global internet domain market has seen a major development, with the top-level domain "AI.com," which stands for "Artificial Intelligence," being sold for a record-breaking $70 million. This transaction has set a new record for the most expensive domain ever publicly reported. The buyer is Kris Marszalek, co-founder and CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange platform "Crypto.com." Marszalek stated that he believes artificial intelligence will be the greatest technological trend in the coming decades, and thus this investment holds significant potential.

The domain will officially launch a new service called "AI Agent" this week, aimed at providing personalized AI services to consumers. This service will support sending messages, calling applications, and conducting stock trading. It is currently unclear whether the service will use a self-developed large model or rely on existing mature products.

Marszalek also revealed that he will run advertisements during the upcoming U.S. "Super Bowl" football final, paying $10 million per 30 seconds to promote the "AI Agent" service. This advertising campaign will help him quickly increase the service's visibility and attract more user attention.

It is reported that Marszalek received multiple high-price offers during the domain acquisition process, but he refused to sell, stating that owning "AI.com" is crucial for the company's future development. The domain previously attracted attention due to its redirection to several well-known AI platforms, and Marszalek believes that leveraging this brand, he can establish trust and brand awareness in the fast-growing market.
