Minimax officially announced its first AI-native edge-side intelligent development board — "Pinea Pi". The release of this product marks that AI technology is moving from the cloud to more detailed hardware levels, aiming to allow developers to quickly build intelligent physical devices as easily as using LEGO bricks.

"Pinea Pi" is based on high-performance NVIDIA Jetson series modules, integrating microphones, cameras, and a rich set of multimodal hardware interfaces. Its core advantage lies in deep compatibility with Minimax's self-developed MiniCPM series edge-side large models, providing powerful computing power of 275TOPS (INT8). This integrated software and hardware design ensures high efficiency when running models on the edge, making offline multimodal interaction possible.

In terms of development experience, "Pinea Pi" introduces the concepts of "Agent-native" and "natural language-driven". This means that developers without deep technical backgrounds can also drive hardware function development through natural language instructions.
