NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang has recently made it clear that the company "absolutely" will participate in the current funding round of OpenAI. Although he did not reveal the exact investment amount, he clearly stated that this amount is "by no means" the previously reported 100 billion dollars, but it could still be NVIDIA's largest investment in history.

In an interview, Jensen Huang expressed great enthusiasm for the deal, calling it a "very good investment" and stating that NVIDIA is very pleased to participate. The intention of cooperation between the two sides had already been evident as early as September last year, when there were plans to provide up to 100 billion dollars in funding to support the construction of new data centers and AI infrastructure using NVIDIA components, with a goal of achieving up to 10 gigawatts of computing power.

Currently, OpenAI is seeking to raise up to 100 billion dollars in funding. In addition to NVIDIA's strong support, other technology giants are also actively discussing entering the market. According to the latest reports, Amazon is considering investing up to 50 billion dollars in OpenAI and plans to expand its agreement on computing power sales with it.

Previously, there were reports that due to internal disagreements within NVIDIA about the details of the deal, the investment plan had once stalled. However, Jensen Huang's recent outspoken remarks have effectively rebutted external doubts. For NVIDIA, this investment is not only a financial move, but also aims to ensure its core hardware's leading position in the development of top AI models, further solidifying the deep integration between the two companies in the field of computing infrastructure.
