On January 28, Kuaishou officially launched the Mureka V8 music AI model, showcasing its latest breakthroughs in AIGC art creation. According to Chairman Fang Han of Kuaishou, Mureka V8 has reached industry-leading levels in four dimensions: the fluency of music melodies, vocal expressiveness, the integrity of musical arrangements, and emotional expression. In practical tests, it even demonstrated a significant advantage over the globally renowned model Suno.

To truly empower professional creation with AI technology, Kuaishou also launched an internal test for the Mureka Studio tool. This tool not only targets professional musicians but also provides an accessible entry point for ordinary music enthusiasts. Unlike previous single-generation modes, Mureka Studio deeply integrates multiple practical features, including single-track generation, local detail editing, and accompaniment generation from vocals. This "precision surgery"-level control capability greatly enhances the commercial value and personalized expression of AI-generated music.

The release of Mureka V8 is seen as a key step in Kuaishou's effort to build a "music social + creation" ecosystem. Relying on previous technical achievements in AI music reasoning models (such as Mureka O1), the V8 model has a stronger advantage in understanding complex musical styles and capturing subtle emotions. Fang Han stated that the related model capabilities will be gradually opened to the public, which is expected to break down the barriers of high-end music creation and make "everyone is a composer" a reality.
