Recently, Xiaomi has partnered with Ant Group to launch two innovative services on Xiaomi Smart Glasses, based on Ant's self-developed global first intelligent terminal trusted connection technology framework - GPASS: parking payment and AI health management. This marks that the GPASS technology is entering multiple scenarios of daily life, providing users with a "service-on-the-go" seamless intelligent terminal experience.

According to the introduction, in the parking scenario, users no longer need to take out their phones. They can simply "say a word" to activate the service or "look at" the parking code through the glasses to complete the security confirmation, automatically paying upon departure, achieving an upgraded experience of "paying while walking, services finding people."

The feature includes an "AI Glasses Parking Assistant" based on GPASS. Unlike traditional mobile phone scanning payment, users can achieve three simple operations through this assistant:

Step 1: Active voice reminder. After the vehicle enters, the AI assistant will inform the billing start time through the glasses' voice.

Step 2: Voice initiation of payment. Before the vehicle leaves, say "Xiaoai, pay for parking", and the AI assistant will automatically check and generate an order.

Step 3: Confirm the payment completion. The AI assistant will announce the cost, and the user confirms the payment.

The system also supports completing the payment by "looking at" the parking code, without any manual operation, searching for mini programs, or waiting for scanning, truly achieving hands-free operation.

At the same time, GPASS also helps Ant's AI health application "Afur" be integrated into Xiaomi Smart Glasses. Users can bind and synchronize Xiaomi Sports Health data to Afur, and directly use voice to call Afur to answer health questions while wearing Xiaomi Smart Glasses. This means that the same pair of glasses and the same underlying technology can serve as both "travel assistant" and "health manager".

This smooth experience is supported by GPASS's unified technical framework centered on "security, connection, and interaction":

In terms of security, GPASS integrates voiceprint and other verification technologies, allowing users to complete identity authorization once when binding their Alipay account, obtaining a "one-stop pass". Based on this trusted identity, the system performs automatic security verification in all subsequent processes such as queries and payments, ensuring service and fund safety.

In terms of connection, GPASS connects smart glasses with the Alipay digital service ecosystem. Relying on Alipay's long-term accumulation in the field of smart parking, this function has covered core commercial areas, transportation hubs, office buildings, and scenic spots in first, second, and third-tier cities across the country. Whether it is smart parking or professional health management services, through digital service components such as ASL, AHA, and ACT, GPASS realizes seamless information flow between cloud, mobile, and glasses ends, serving as the fundamental guarantee for "one sentence, service arrives immediately."

In terms of interaction, GPASS not only redefines payment interaction but also supports multi-device collaboration. For example, after users open the "Parking Message" service on the mobile Alipay app, they can receive status reminders about billing, entry, and exit synchronously on the mobile and glasses ends, ensuring no important information is missed.

Since its release at the Bund Conference in 2025, GPASS technology has continuously driven AI glasses from a "basic interactive device" to a "personal intelligent entity." It is reported that more digital lifestyle services are expected to be launched on major brand AI smart glasses via GPASS in the future, integrating into users' travel, cultural tourism, health, and other diverse scenarios, pushing smart wearable devices toward the next generation of personal computing platforms centered on people.

Industry observers point out that with the rapid development of AI glasses hardware, building an open, secure, and interconnected underlying service system has become the key to industry breakthroughs. GPASS provides a standardized, financially secure technical framework, significantly reducing development barriers and helping hardware manufacturers quickly access rich digital lifestyle services.
