JD.com has officially established the "Chameleon Business Department" to comprehensively take over the research and development and commercialization of core AI products such as the JoyAI App, JoyInside platform, and digital humans. This move marks that JD.com is systematically delivering its accumulated cutting-edge AI technology capabilities to the industrial end. By integrating technology, products, and sales resources, it accelerates the closed-loop implementation of AI business and improves market response efficiency.

As a core part of JD.com's AI strategy, the JoyAI App has built a supply chain ecosystem covering language, voice, image, and digital humans using large model technology, becoming an intelligent personal assistant for users. In terms of hardware empowerment, the JoyInside platform has reached technical cooperation with more than 40 leading robot and AI toy brands, implanting a high-emotional "brain" into their devices, increasing the average number of conversation rounds by over 120%. Notably, the self-developed AI plush toys launched by JD.com at the end of 2025 received a warm market response, with the first batch selling out immediately upon release. JD.com has announced that the second batch of self-developed AI toys for all age groups is currently in the final preparation phase and is planned to be fully launched in mid-January.
In addition, JD.com's digital human technology has been deeply integrated into diverse scenarios such as live streaming, customer service, cultural tourism, and sports commentary, serving more than 50,000 brand merchants. Currently, JD.com has fully opened the digital human live streaming function for free to merchants, further lowering the threshold for brands to enter the AI marketing era.
