Developed by the Chinese Braille Press and a technology company, the system aims to meet the special needs of blind children during the reading process. Users can log in to the integrated digital interactive platform for blind educational resources through their mobile phones or computers and register for free use.

The Xingguang AI Reading Companion system is equipped with advanced large language models, allowing visually impaired readers to ask questions to the system at any time while reading. Whether it is about the meaning of words in the book, the analysis of the plot, or the expansion of related knowledge, the system can provide accurate answers based on its comprehensive knowledge base. All question-and-answer records can be saved as audio or notes, making it convenient for readers to review and consolidate the content they have learned.

The system specifically addresses three core challenges that blind children face in reading: operational barriers, comprehension bottlenecks, and emotional deficiencies. By solving the issues of "not seeing," "not understanding," and "no interaction," the Xingguang AI Reading Companion offers a new reading experience. Visually impaired readers can also choose characters they want to play and engage in open-ended dialogues with AI-driven characters, deeply participating in the understanding and interaction of the story plot.
