Google has recently announced that its latest generative AI model, Gemini3, is being scaled up globally. Just weeks after the initial release of Gemini3, Google has begun offering this powerful AI feature to users worldwide, allowing more people to experience its advantages in Google Search's AI mode.

This expansion covers 120 countries and regions, including the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Users in supported regions can now use Gemini3Pro for search. Initially, this version was only available in the United States to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers, who could access it through the "Thinking" option in the drop-down menu of the Gemini app.

The launch of Gemini3 not only enhances users' query processing capabilities but also optimizes the understanding of user intent and semantic nuances, demonstrating stronger reasoning and multimodal capabilities. Google stated that its "query fan-out" technology used for divergent retrieval has also been improved, helping users uncover potentially missed relevant information in complex questions.

In terms of release pace, Google has significantly accelerated the deployment of its flagship model. Notably, Gemini3 has outperformed several leading models from OpenAI on the LMArena ranking. Meanwhile, Google has adjusted the scheduling strategy of its search model: for complex questions requiring deep reasoning, the search engine will intelligently switch to Gemini3, while simple tasks will still use a lighter model that offers faster response times, ensuring a smooth user experience.

In addition to text generation capabilities, Google has also launched the image generation model Nano Banana Pro in the Gemini3 family, expanding its application range in the search AI mode. This feature is also only available to users who have subscribed to the Google AI Pro and Ultra plans, and primarily supports the English interface. In addition, the Gemini series has introduced new interactive diagrams in the scientific field and an AI-generated image recognition feature, showing Google's active efforts to strengthen the Gemini ecosystem.
