OpenAI and Accenture jointly announced on the 27th a multi-year strategic alliance to offer a one-stop artificial intelligence transformation solution to enterprises worldwide. The first phase will equip Accenture's 70,000 professional consultants with ChatGPT Enterprise and jointly build industry-specific large models and data platforms. After the announcement, Accenture's stock rose more than 5% before the market opened, and its market value increased by over $7 billion at one point.

According to the agreement, Accenture will integrate OpenAI's latest models with its own industry methodologies to provide "AI strategy consulting - data governance - model fine-tuning - operations and maintenance" full-chain services for the healthcare, finance, manufacturing, and public sectors. OpenAI will provide underlying models, computing power quotas, and dedicated technical support. The first batch of joint solutions between the two companies are expected to be delivered to customers in the second quarter of 2025.

Julie Sweet, CEO of Accenture, said that generative AI is moving from proof of concept to large-scale deployment, "Our collaboration with OpenAI will help enterprises turn experiments into productivity." Brad Lightcap, COO of OpenAI, stated that Accenture's deep industry data and process experience is an essential "final piece of the puzzle" for model implementation.

Market research firm Gartner estimates that global enterprise spending on generative AI will reach $420 billion by 2027. Analysts believe that the "bundled" services offered by consulting giants and model providers can reduce enterprise trial-and-error costs and accelerate the commercialization of AI applications. With the launch of the OpenAI-Accenture flagship program, the competition in the enterprise AI sector has entered a "ecosystem versus ecosystem" stage, and traditional IT service providers may face more intense competition for orders.
