In the rapidly evolving e-commerce market, security, efficiency, and user experience are challenges faced by both merchants and platforms. In this context, Baidu E-commerce's "Preferred" brand has successfully optimized its risk control review process using large model technology, moving towards full machine review, instant feedback, and high interpretability.
Traditional risk control review methods relied on manual reviews and simple rule engines. This model has proven inadequate in the face of rapid e-commerce growth. After merchants submit information, they often have to wait 2 to 4 hours, sometimes even up to a day, leading to merchant dissatisfaction and an increase in appeals. Additionally, ambiguous feedback during the review process makes it difficult for merchants to understand the reasons for rejection.

To address these issues, Baidu E-commerce's technical team proposed a new machine review solution based on "large model + rules + knowledge base." This solution integrates multimodal large model technology, enabling more accurate judgments in complex scenarios. Specifically, the new review process achieves efficient and clear review standards through three steps:
1. Risk Clarification and Standard Optimization: The team integrated over 700 risk points to form 24 core risk standards, covering more than 95% of online violations.
2. Multimodal Data Understanding: The new system can process text, images, and structured data simultaneously, using large language models and image recognition technology to accurately identify product information and its compliance.
3. Accurate Feedback and Interpretability: Review results include detailed reasons for rejection and suggestions for improvement, helping merchants quickly understand the problems and make corrections.
Through these technological innovations, Baidu E-commerce's review process is no longer a single rule-based judgment but a comprehensive analysis of multiple information sources, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the review. This not only improves merchant satisfaction but also significantly reduces user losses caused by false information, creating a positive cycle.
Baidu E-commerce's transformation marks the deep application of AI technology in the e-commerce field, providing a reference for other e-commerce platforms.
