Kunlun AI video product SkyReels announced that the new version is expected to officially launch in early November. SkyReels is the result of Kunlun's long-term efforts in the AI field. Over the past two years, the technical team has focused on core challenges such as long video generation, character consistency, action controllability, and multimodal fusion. In February 2025, the first open-source video generation model for AI short drama creation in China, SkyReels-V1, was officially released. Relying on the advantage of a Hollywood-level film and television material training dataset, it achieves precise driving of 33 micro-expressions and over 400 action poses. Under the same resolution output conditions, it reaches the SOTA (state-of-the-art) level in the open-source field. In April, the world's first SkyReels-V2 model based on the "diffusion forcing" technology framework was launched, pushing AI video creation into a new stage of "unlimited duration generation + precise detail control." The SkyReels-A3 audio-driven model released in August further realizes full-modal audio-driven digital human creation for any duration.
