In July, LimX Dynamics announced the completion of a new round of financing, led by JD.com strategically. This funding will accelerate its layout in areas such as mass production of humanoid robots, research and development of embodied large models, and the construction of the IDS ecosystem platform, and promote in-depth collaboration and exploration between the two sides in industries such as retail, logistics, and services.
As a robotics company focused on an embodied intelligence general platform, LimX Dynamics proposed the "IDS Collaborative Innovation Strategy," focusing on serving three core groups - Innovators, Developers, and System Integrators. By providing efficient and open platform technologies, LimX Dynamics is helping its partners quickly realize technological implementation and create commercially viable solutions.
Currently, LimX Dynamics' full-size humanoid robot has completed mass production preparation and is expected to be officially launched for sale in the second half of 2025. The robot is highly versatile, suitable for various scenarios such as complex operations, spatial perception, and mobile interaction, representing the high adaptability and future development potential of embodied intelligence in the real world.
Since the release of its bipedal robot TRON1 in October 2023, it has been widely applied in scenarios such as inspection, security, and delivery, with clients including multiple universities and technology companies around the world. TRON1 has also successively released mobile operation, perception expansion, and voice interaction kits for developers, accelerating the exploration of large-scale industry applications.
In terms of the intelligent "brain," LimX Dynamics has launched the LimX VGM (Video-Granular Manipulation) large model, which achieves robotic operational capabilities based on human operation videos without real machine sample data, allowing cross-platform generalized deployment. Its development paradigm emphasizes the "Data Recipe" strategy, flexibly integrating multi-source data such as real machines, simulations, and videos, aiming for efficient productization and meeting practical application needs.
According to information, LimX Dynamics will release more results based on Visual-Language-Action (VLA) large models in the second half of the year, further breaking through the boundaries of autonomous decision-making and natural interaction of robots in complex environments, and building a general intelligent agent system.
