Alibaba Cloud Launches AI Video Generation Tool Live Portrait


Recently, the Beijing Internet Court held online hearings for four copyright infringement cases filed by illustrators against the developers and operators of AI art software. The plaintiffs in these cases are all renowned illustrators who discovered that their original works, published on a content-sharing platform, were extensively mimicked by the AI art software and used as training material to generate new artworks. These AI-generated artworks not only closely resemble the style of the plaintiffs' works but are also used heavily for commercial purposes, severely harming the interests of the plaintiffs.
Xiaohongshu influencer 'Antenna Sister (Underwear King)' recently shared an unusual experience. While commissioning an illustration for her original character, she unexpectedly discovered that the artist she hired was using AI technology. This revelation sparked widespread attention and discussion on social media, with the video quickly garnering 29,000 likes on Xiaohongshu.

Tencent Hunyuan released the preview version of its flagship model, Hy4preview, with a total parameter count of 770B and an activated parameter count of 49B. It supports a context length of 1M. This model performs exceptionally well in real productivity tasks such as coding, office work, and science, ranking among the first-tier open-source models. Its comprehensive performance in internal blind tests exceeds that of similar competitors, and it has already been applied in multiple fields within Tencent.
