Honor Releases AI Large Model Magic Model with Platform-Level AI System MagicOS 8.0


HONOR announced that its smart assistant YOYO has integrated the DeepSeek-V4 large model, becoming the first Android intelligent entity to adopt this technology. The upgrade focuses on three core aspects: performance, context understanding, and reasoning efficiency, significantly enhancing the ability to handle complex instructions and long-text conversations, marking a new stage in mobile AI experience.
Honor launches its self-developed 'Lobster' YOYO Claw AI Agent technology, aimed at solving three major pain points of AI agents: complex onboarding, high cost, and privacy risks. As the implementation of the 'Lobster Universe' concept, this technology achieves multi-device integration and 'one lobster, multiple uses', promoting the development of AI agent deployment and application on terminals.
Honor is currently in talks with ByteDance regarding the "Douyin Phone" cooperation, and the two sides may deepen AI terminal collaboration. Previously, ByteDance had approached Honor first, but Honor did not participate in the first generation of cooperation due to risks of deep system integration and the need for stability facing hundreds of millions of users.
Honor will unveil its first humanoid robot at MWC2026, targeting consumer markets such as home services and intelligent companionship. This move marks a key step in its transformation toward an AI terminal ecosystem. To support this strategy, the company established a new industry incubation department in 2025, which includes five laboratories, and plans to invest $10 billion over the next five years.
Honor collaborates with Plaud to develop system-level AI recording, enabling direct transcription in the phone's recorder app, eliminating third-party apps and boosting office efficiency.....
