xAI officially launched its new integrated subscription plan The X Subscription on the 2nd, which will be available to users worldwide in the coming days. This plan for the first time integrates Grok (supports chat, voice, image, and video generation), Grok Bot (an AI collaboration partner), Cursor (a local and cloud-based coding AI agent), and X Premium (including verified badges, creator tools, and an ad-free experience) to provide a complete AI workflow from thinking, creating, building, to sharing.

The new package introduces a shared quota pool mechanism, allowing users to share sufficient model usage quotas between Grok and Cursor, with coding usage at least twice as much as the comparable standalone Cursor plan. It also supports using third-party models via API pricing in the advanced tier of Cursor.

Pricing includes five tiers: Free ($0/month), Plus ($8/month), Premium ($30/month), Super ($100/month), and Ultra ($200/month). Additionally, for team and enterprise customers, the system provides a single dashboard for unified management, with per-seat pricing matching individual plans and including SSO, admin controls, consolidated billing, and SOC2 compliance support. Existing SuperGrok, Cursor, or X Premium users can choose to retain their current plan or migrate as needed and enjoy a limited-time switching offer.

The launch of this service marks the acceleration of the AI tool ecosystem from point-function competition to a platform-based, full-process integrated ecosystem, and is expected to have a profound impact on the existing independent developer and productivity software market landscape.
