AI research institute DeepSeek plans to lead the seed round financing of robot AI startup Winverse AI, which is valued at around 400 million USD after the investment.

It is reported that Winverse AI was founded by Hu Han, former chief scientist at Tencent Holdings and head of the visual language and embodied foundation model team, in 2026. This round of financing also received commitments from institutions such as Long-Z Investments, a subsidiary of Meituan. The funds for this transaction come from DeepSeek's latest round of financing, which raised more than 12 billion USD.

If the deal is successfully completed, it will help this leading Chinese AI company accelerate its deep integration of embodied intelligence with real-world application scenarios, providing foundational technical support for the commercialization of humanoid robots and other fields.
