Today, Deng Chenghao, Chairman of Shenlan Automobile, officially announced that the new Shenlan S07 will fully integrate with ByteDance's Douyin large model and will also be equipped with an AI laser intelligent driving system. The new vehicle is scheduled to be launched on September 28th.

When discussing the evolution of smart cabin development, Deng Chenghao pointed out that the past competition in car cabins mainly focused on "material accumulation," forcing users to adapt to the complicated interaction logic of machines. With the deep integration of AI large models into vehicles, the core logic of the vehicle's system will completely shift from "function collection" to "intention understanding." One Agent (a single intelligent entity) is becoming a major trend in the industry. With the support of the new large model, users will only need to directly express their real needs in the car, and the system will automatically coordinate various underlying capabilities to fulfill the service.

To balance response speed and data privacy, the new Shenlan S07 adopts an advanced terminal-cloud collaboration model for the large model. For simple daily commands, the system can respond in milliseconds on the terminal side and can still be used even in extreme offline scenarios. When facing complex compound tasks, it will intelligently call cloud computing power while ensuring all sensitive private data is securely processed locally.

When asked why the company chose Douyin among many large models, Deng Chenghao said that although Shenlan had previously cooperated deeply with top tech companies like Huawei and DeepSeek, the choice of Douyin was mainly based on macro-level considerations of ecological synergy. He believes that the upper limit of future smart cabin experiences largely depends on the depth of the underlying AI ecosystem.
