On September 3, Tencent's full-scenario AI intelligent agent workstation WorkBuddy was officially launched on the Galaxy Kylin operating system and UnionTech UOS, and was simultaneously listed in the official application stores of the two systems as well as the openKylin and deepin community software stores. Users can search for "WorkBuddy" to install it with one click and use it immediately. New users can also receive 2000 free credits.

This compatibility is not a simple code migration, but the result of collaboration between the WorkBuddy team and domestic operating system vendors. Both sides have customized and refined the core scenarios such as system login integration, device connectivity, skill invocation, and result preview. By actively iterating the application to adapt to the system's underlying capabilities, it has achieved a qualitative change from "passive compatibility" to "active deep adaptation," achieving a native-level operation effect on domestic Linux systems, with user experience consistent and smooth across other mainstream platforms.

Previously, WorkBuddy had already released the government custom version "Wanqing · WorkBuddy" in June, providing services to all civil servants in Guangdong Province. In July, the HarmonyOS PC version was launched, achieving full HarmonyOS terminal coverage. With this, the product has completed coverage of the main domestic operating system groups including HarmonyOS, Galaxy Kylin, and UnionTech UOS, taking a key step toward the popularization of AI office in information technology innovation and government scenarios.
