On September 2, Tencent WorkBuddy announced the official launch of its open platform (open.WorkBuddy.cn), with more than a hundred ecosystem partners introduced in the first phase. It opens up underlying Agent capabilities to smart hardware, industry applications, and developers.
At the event, nine co-branded smart hardware products made their debut, with partners including Plaud, Rokid, Insta360, iFLYTEK, Anker, Muyu, and JD.com's JINGZAO brand; over 30 industry applications were also connected, covering more than 20 fields such as finance, law, healthcare, education, and public welfare.
Liu Yi, Vice President of Tencent Cloud and head of Tencent CodeBuddy & WorkBuddy, stated that true productivity does not depend on how powerful a tool is, but rather on how many capabilities it can connect and how many scenarios it can enter. We hope to build WorkBuddy into an operating system for the Agent era—not to create a stronger tool, but to create a platform that can support all tools.
