The image of pedestrians is strangely oriented, and a broom seems to "emerge" from the garbage bag held by a sanitation worker. Several details are distorted, and it is suspected that the advertisement was generated by AI. After the incident sparked public attention, local authorities sent personnel to the scene on August 26th for handling. The construction department of the management committee stated that they had conducted an emergency inspection on the evening of the 25th and replaced the problematic advertisement.

Review only checks text, missing visual verification

On August 27th, the local government further responded, confirming that the advertisement was generated by a cooperating advertising company using AI, and it has now been removed. Staff members admitted that the review process focused on checking textual slogans, neglecting to verify the visual content; the local area is currently conducting a comprehensive inspection of other outdoor advertisements, and any similar issues found will be immediately replaced.

The absurd visuals stem from AI painting not understanding real-world logic. Large models learn patterns of pixels, styles, and elements from massive images, but do not grasp physical common sense, human anatomy, or reasonable object relationships. They simply combine elements based on their frequency without distinguishing whether the posture and placement are reasonable. Once the prompt is simple, elements are forcibly stacked, leading to distorted limbs and other "AI hallucinations." When combined with human oversight, these illogical errors directly manifest as physical advertisements.
