On August 13, the HarmonyOS version of Alipay received a major update, officially launching its AI-native assistant "Abao" for public testing to HarmonyOS users. Users only need to update the Alipay app to the latest version in the Huawei AppMarket, and then experience "Abao" by swiping right on the home screen or clicking the bottom-left button. This update marks that "Abao" has achieved full-scene coverage across the three major mobile operating systems: iOS, Android, and HarmonyOS.

As the core carrier of the Alipay ecosystem reconstruction, "Abao" was first launched in June this year and was fully rolled out on June 16th, completely overturning the traditional menu-based click model with natural language interaction. In the HarmonyOS ecosystem, users can simply use conversational expressions to call thousands of services including dining and travel, top-ups and payments, home cleaning, and government affairs with just one sentence, significantly shortening the multi-level click operation path in traditional apps.

Currently, the number of HarmonyOS 6 devices has exceeded 70 million and is showing an accelerating growth trend. By deeply integrating the AI assistant into the HarmonyOS ecosystem, Alipay not only demonstrates its strategic determination to reconstruct the service model of large-scale apps with AI, but also provides billions of terminal users with a more efficient and accurate service access point. As AI-native interactions are widely deployed across mainstream operating systems, the mobile internet service supply is undergoing a paradigm shift from "people seeking services" to "AI scheduling services on demand."
