Tencent Video's Intelligent Creation Platform Department is currently testing the AIGC content creation platform WorkSolo, which covers three core creative modes: AI short dramas, interactive films, and free canvas. It provides AI-driven video production capabilities for a broader range of content creators.

According to the information, WorkSolo adopts a business model combining free trial, membership subscription, and integrated points-based computing power. When users use AI creation capabilities, they will consume points-based computing power. Members can purchase points packages and enjoy corresponding discounts. The platform also supports monthly and annual subscription cycles to meet different creative needs.

Previously, Tencent Video had launched the AI content production platform WorkRally. This platform is positioned as an industrial-level AI comic production platform, mainly targeting institutional teams and large-scale quality projects, offering a complete content production workflow, team collaboration capabilities, and professional film and television agent tools.

In comparison, WorkSolo is more geared towards individual creators and lightweight content production scenarios, while WorkRally focuses on professional and large-scale production needs. The two platforms have clear differentiated positioning, indicating that Tencent Video is building a dual-layer AIGC content product matrix covering both personal creation and professional production.

Additionally, several positions related to WorkSolo have recently appeared on Tencent's official recruitment platform, with work locations in Los Angeles, USA. It remains unclear whether WorkSolo will launch an independent overseas version or adapt its product capabilities for the international market.

As generative AI continues to penetrate the film and television production field, content production is gradually shifting from traditional manual processes to AI-assisted creation. By laying out AIGC tools at different levels, Tencent Video is expected to further explore the commercial applications of AI in short dramas, interactive content, and the film and television industrial process.
