Amazon Invests Millions of Dollars to Train Giant AI Model 'Olympus'


Microsoft plans to launch multiple self-developed AI models at next week's Build conference in San Francisco, with a focus on introducing a high-cost-performance code-specific model to counter the erosion of GitHub Copilot's market share by Cursor and Claude Code. This model aims to attract price-sensitive developers by reducing operational costs, while also launching models with various parameter specifications to complete its own AI ecosystem and gain more developer support.
Anthropic announced on May 28 that due to breakthroughs in security protection technology, it plans to open the new AI model with Mythos-level capabilities to all customers in the coming weeks. Previously, the company had refused to disclose the model due to its excessive power and high risks, but rapid iterations in security technology have led to this change.
Moonshot AI officially announced that the API for the Kimi K2 series model will cease maintenance on May 25th. Users are required to migrate to the latest model, kimi-k2.6, to obtain ongoing support and enhanced multimodal capabilities. The K2 series includes multiple versions, which were renowned for their trillions of parameters since their release in July of last year and have now reached the end of their lifecycle.
