Tencent's Public Relations Director Zhang Jun announced that its newly launched operating system-level AI assistant "Mavis" is now available, supporting multiple platforms including Windows, Mac, and Android. Users can quickly get started, turning their entire computer into an interactive intelligent assistant, improving work and life efficiency.

"Mavis" integrates terminal systems, files, applications, and computing power into a single AI middleware. It comes pre-set with 6 agents that work collaboratively, forming an "AI team." The main agent is responsible for task scheduling, while other specialized agents handle specific tasks such as file management, computer operations, application usage, web browsing, and searching, ensuring users can use it out of the box.

This AI assistant offers multiple intelligent features, including document classification, image processing, and repairing the operating system. Tencent stated that "Mavis" can basically achieve all the functions that other agents on the market can offer. In addition, it has a deep understanding of the operating system architecture and files, and can flexibly schedule and operate based on the user's task requirements.

To protect user privacy, "Mavis" provides two usage options: efficiency mode and private mode. In private mode, all data parsing and image recognition operations are performed locally, ensuring that data is not uploaded to the cloud. Users can continue to use it even when offline. This mode is particularly suitable for high-sensitivity scenarios such as finance, legal affairs, and human resources. When it comes to privacy and security, users can perform confirmation actions. Currently, each user can enjoy a daily free token quota of 10 million.
