Recently, an incident involving improper responses from intelligent software has attracted widespread attention. A user posted on a social platform stating that when using the "Feiya AI Accounting" app to record an expense of 159 yuan for buying clothes for his father, the accounting AI made malicious mockery. After the user entered the amount of 159 yuan, the AI did not perform its accounting duties properly, but instead made inappropriate remarks, saying that the style of the clothes resembled a "funeral suit."
In subsequent interactions, the AI failed to recognize its offense and continued to respond in a similar manner. This lack of empathy and insulting reply immediately angered the user, who decided to cancel his membership and request a refund.
In response to this poor user experience, the software operator issued an official response on May 6th. The customer service explained that this inappropriate response was not due to human intervention, but rather a logical flaw in the AI's dialogue library. Currently, the technical team has made emergency repairs to the relevant models and further strengthened supervision and restrictions on AI conversation scenarios to prevent similar sensitive and disrespectful expressions from occurring again.
On the afternoon of May 6th, the official released a "Letter of Apology," publicly acknowledging serious shortcomings in the platform's control of AI boundaries and understanding of cultural taboos. The official stated that the AI model failed to identify emotional limits in specific contexts and that the platform is willing to take full responsibility.
In the handling plan, the official clearly stated that measures such as blocking sensitive words and strengthening full-scenario review mechanisms will be used for in-depth rectification. In addition, regarding the process oversight encountered by the user during the membership cancellation, the official also clarified the situation and promised to optimize the refund service process, express sincere apologies to affected users, and provide corresponding compensation measures.
