Mitu Corporation officially disclosed its business data for the first quarter of 2026 on May 6. The report shows that due to the accelerated commercialization of AI applications, the company's key business indicators have seen significant growth. Among them, the number of paid subscription users stood out, reaching a historical high of 17.9 million, indicating strong user demand for high-value digital content and tools.
In terms of financial performance, the revenue from Mitu's image and design products with a focus on paid subscriptions reached 852 million yuan, a significant increase of 34.3% compared to the same period last year. Looking at the revenue structure, although lifestyle application scenarios still accounted for an absolute share of 82%, productivity applications targeting professional fields are showing great growth potential, contributing about 18% of the revenue.
Notably, Mitu's layout in the productivity sector has entered a period of harvest. As of March 2026, the annual recurring revenue (ARR) of the company's AI productivity applications had approached 580 million yuan, with a year-on-year growth rate as high as 56.2%. This rapid growth is driven by a dual improvement in user activity and technical usage depth—data shows that in just March of this year, the amount of AI computing power consumed by image and design products increased by 59% compared to December 2025.
Analysts point out that the explosive growth in computing power consumption not only reflects the popularity of AI features but also indicates substantial progress in Mitu's transformation from a "mass beauty tool" to a "professional productivity platform." With the continuous iteration of AI algorithms and the deep expansion of application scenarios, Mitu's commercialization map is expected to expand further in the future.
