The workflow in the creative field is undergoing an efficiency revolution. Anthropic has officially announced that its AI model, Claude, has achieved deep integration with eight major creative software applications, including Adobe and Blender. Through newly added dedicated connectors (Connectors), Claude's AI capabilities will no longer be limited to standalone chat windows but will be directly integrated into professional production processes such as graphic design, 3D modeling, and audio production.
In the field of visual creation, the integration of Claude with the Adobe ecosystem is particularly notable. Creators can now call on more than 50 core functions, including Photoshop, Premiere, and Express, directly within their familiar tools. Meanwhile, the connector for Affinity focuses on automation of productivity, taking over tedious and repetitive production tasks and even supporting users to customize specific automation features according to their needs.
3D modeling and industrial design have also benefited significantly. Subscribers to Autodesk Fusion can now command the AI to build and modify complex industrial models through simple natural language conversations. Users of SketchUp can first describe their initial ideas to Claude, who will quickly create a basic 3D prototype, which can then be refined in the software.
Notably, the integration with the open-source 3D software Blender utilizes the Python API. This means developers and animators can not only let AI assist in analyzing and debugging complex 3D scenes but also batch-write custom scripts to manipulate objects. For visual artists, it is now even possible to control stage visual software like Resolume Arena and Wire using natural language in real time.
In the audio field, this update also covers Ableton and Splice. Music producers can query complex official documentation at any time or perform quick searches in vast royalty-free sample libraries.
This upgrade marks a shift in Claude's role: it is no longer just a simple chatbot but has evolved into a "smart assistant" capable of understanding the logic of professional software, writing plugins, and restructuring data formats. By taking over the tedious execution-level work, AI aims to allow creators to focus more on refining their core inspirations.
