The new Roewe i6, a compact sedan under SAIC Roewe, was officially launched today. The new model fully adopts the visual language of the Roewe D7, featuring a large, upright grille with a distinctive appearance, paired with a horizontal halo light bar spanning left and right, creating a strong sense of technology and visual width. The rear design features an upturned ducktail style that complements the full-width tail lights, giving the overall look a more youthful appearance.

In terms of body dimensions, the new Roewe i6 has a length, width, and height of 4767/1828/1498mm, with a wheelbase of 2755mm. Thanks to its superior space performance, the car is classified as an A+ class sedan, particularly showing obvious competitive advantages in the headroom and knee space in the rear seat.

Smart Cabin Upgrade, Integrating Doubao AI Large Model

Interior smart upgrades are one of the highlights of this new car. The new Roewe i6 features a simple cabin layout, with the most eye-catching being a 15.6-inch 2.5K floating central control screen. In terms of hardware, the vehicle is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, ensuring smooth operation of the infotainment system.

Notably, the new car deeply integrates the "Doubao Deep Thinking Large Model," enabling more logical multi-round voice interactions. Even vague commands can be accurately identified. In addition, interior details have been re-optimized: the electronic gear shift design frees up the central passage space, forming a practical double-layer storage area; the front seats support electric adjustment and also feature ventilation, heating, and driver memory welcome functions, along with 50W wireless wind-cooled fast charging for mobile phones.

Self-developed Power Architecture, Balancing Performance and Energy Efficiency

Regarding the power system, the new Roewe i6 is equipped with SAIC's self-developed 1.5L aluminum cylinder direct injection engine. This engine uses the same 350bar high-pressure direct injection technology as turbocharged models, with a maximum power of 95kW and peak torque of 158N·m, paired with a CVT continuously variable transmission. This powertrain ensures smooth power output while also offering fuel economy, with a WLTC comprehensive fuel consumption of only 5.96L/100km.

Pricing and Limited-time Benefits

This launch includes three configurations: Longjiu, Haolong, and Zhenjiu. The official suggested retail price ranges from 74,900 yuan to 84,900 yuan, but the brand also introduced a generous limited-time purchase price range of 65,900 yuan to 75,900 yuan.

To further lower the cost of buying a car, customers can enjoy up to a 40,000 yuan financial plan (24-month zero interest or 60-month low interest), a 4,000 yuan fuel subsidy, and a lifetime warranty on the original factory powertrain. For users who place orders before May 5th and lock in their orders by the end of the month, the official will also give an additional gift worth 999 yuan in pure gold.
