On April 28, the Chinese Academy of Sciences officially launched the "Panzhi 100" model system in Beijing, marking the transition of AI for Science in China from isolated exploration to a systematic and efficient innovation stage. The system is based on the "Panzhi" scientific foundational large model as its intelligent infrastructure, building a cluster of models targeting eight key disciplines including mathematics, physics, materials science, and life sciences, forming a digital intelligence innovation platform covering all research scenarios.

In terms of technical architecture, "Panzhi 100" achieves full-stack integration from the basic foundation to application intelligents. The upgraded Panzhi Scientific Foundation Large Model 1.5 Pro version is based on 6.5 million high-quality scientific reasoning data, significantly enhancing cross-disciplinary knowledge reasoning and multi-modal understanding capabilities. As a foundation supporting the entire research process, Panzhi provides three core functions: Literature Compass, Innovation Evaluation, and Intelligent Factory. The Intelligent Factory has initially achieved autonomous closed-loop toolchains, accumulating over 2,000 research tools. In terms of disciplinary dimensions, the Panzhi system demonstrates deep domain cognition and reasoning efficiency. For example, the "Digital Cell" model verified three unknown drug targets within 30 days, while the "Lingkong" large model achieved deep reasoning for complex aerospace engineering problems.
