In the field of artificial intelligence, Tencent has recently launched its latest generation AI large model - Huyuan 3.0. This model, named Hy3, marks a significant advancement in Tencent's AI development, especially in programming capabilities. With the joining of AI expert Yao Shunyu, who was previously recruited from an internet giant, the performance of Huyuan 3.0 has significantly improved, bringing new expectations to the industry.

Huyuan 3.0 is currently available for free under the name Hy3preview, and users can experience it on openrouter. Compared to the previous generation Huyuan 2.0 model, Hy3 has made a leap in programming capabilities. According to user-provided SWE-Bench programming capability test data, Huyuan 2.0 scored only 53.0%, while Huyuan 3.0 reached 74.4%, showing a performance improvement of over 40%. This progress has brought Hy3's programming capabilities close to GLM-4.7, although it still has some distance to GLM-5, but undoubtedly places it among the top-tier domestic AI large models.

Huyuan 3.0 adopts a MoE (Mixture of Experts) architecture, with three levels of reasoning, capable of processing context content up to 262K, and achieving a speed of 23 Token/s. This enhancement of multimodal capabilities makes Hy3 more advantageous in handling complex tasks.

Moreover, the release of Huyuan 3.0 comes at a time when competition in the industry is intensifying. The launch of Tencent's new model not only directly competes with other competitors such as DeepSeek V4, but also provides new possibilities for future AI development. As AI technology continues to advance, Tencent hopes to take a place in the market with Huyuan 3.0 and challenge industry giants like OpenAI.
