According to the latest news from "Shanghai Cyberspace Administration," the Shanghai Cyberspace Administration has released the latest batch of announcements on the filing information of generative AI services. The announcement shows that by March 16, 2026, Shanghai added one new generative AI service that has completed the filing this month, and the total number of services that have completed the filing in the city has reached 150.
This filing work was carried out in an orderly manner by the Shanghai Cyberspace Administration in coordination with relevant departments, strictly following the requirements of the "Interim Measures for the Management of Generative AI Services." In addition to direct filing management, Shanghai has also conducted registration work for services that call already filed models through APIs or other means and provide services with public opinion attributes or social mobilization capabilities, aiming to further standardize the innovative application of AI technology.

According to the management requirements, generative AI applications or features that are already launched must fulfill compliance obligations. Relevant products must display the filing service information used in a prominent position or on the details page, clearly indicating the model name and filing number. At the same time, developers must strictly follow the "Methods for Identifying AI-Generated Synthetic Content," adding clear identification to AI-generated synthetic content to ensure users' right to be informed.
The Shanghai Cyberspace Administration stated that it will continue to promote the construction of Shanghai as a highland of AI innovation and development, achieving more breakthroughs in the field of generative AI under the premise of ensuring standardized application. These series of filing and registration measures mark that Shanghai is moving towards a more mature stage in balancing AI industry vitality and regulatory compliance.
