KFC has officially announced the launch of its AI ordering agent "Xiao K" on its official app and some partner in-car systems. This product is built based on Alibaba's Qwen large model, marking a further deepening of the catering giant's commercialization of generative AI.

The core technology of "Xiao K" combines a large language model with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technology, giving it strong natural language understanding and multi-turn dialogue capabilities. In practical scenarios, users do not need to navigate through complex menu hierarchies; they can simply input vague instructions such as "10 people for a meeting, budget within 350 yuan, including a specified number of burgers," and the system will automatically match preferences and complete the meal configuration. In the car, the agent achieves a full-cycle closed loop for "selection - ordering - payment - pickup" through voice interaction, significantly improving service efficiency in driving scenarios.

Additionally, thanks to the model's long-term memory function, "Xiao K" can provide personalized and precise recommendations based on users' historical purchase records.
