According to Cailian News, Alibaba's new generation foundation model Qwen3.5 has appeared in the HuggingFace Transformers project with a code merge request (PR), indicating that its release is imminent.
It is reported that Qwen3.5 adopts a brand-new hybrid attention mechanism, and it is highly likely to be a native vision-language model (VLM model). Current information discovered by developers shows that Qwen3.5 is expected to open source at least a 2B dense model and a 35B-A3B MoE model. Previously, it was reported that this series of models will be officially open-sourced during the Spring Festival this year.
