Recently, the Pudong New Area of Shanghai officially released the "Work Plan for Promoting the Construction of Zhangjiang Artificial Intelligence Innovation Town", clearly stating that by 2030, the scale of the artificial intelligence industry will exceed 100 billion yuan, and more than 1,000 vertical large model application enterprises will be gathered, achieving the "Double Thousand" development goals.

The plan outlines a clear staged growth path: it is expected that by 2027, Zhangjiang Artificial Intelligence Innovation Town will first gather more than 800 vertical large model enterprises, complete hundreds of large model registrations, and build more than 30 demonstration application scenarios, at which time the industrial scale will reach 65 billion yuan.

Pudong New Area aims to build a globally influential vertical application innovation hub by breaking through core technologies and launching popular applications, turning the town into a future city model with integrated industries and cities, and a smart ecological environment. It also aims to attract top global AI talents to gather here, forming a world-class artificial intelligence industry cluster.
