Today, Alibaba's Qwen App announced full integration with core Alibaba ecosystem businesses such as Taobao, Alipay, AutoNavi, Fliggy, and Taobao Flash Sales. It has become the first in the world to offer AI-powered functions for ordering food delivery, shopping, booking flights, and more. This upgrade has launched over 400 AI-powered functions, which are now open for testing to all users.

Wu Jia, President of Qwen's Consumer Business Group, demonstrated a groundbreaking interaction at the launch event: by simply issuing the command "Order 40 Bawang Cha Ji drinks for me," Qwen was able to complete the order and payment within the app via Taobao Flash Sales, without any need to switch apps.

This series of "task capabilities" stems from key breakthroughs in Qwen's underlying technology, including significant improvements in coding capabilities that enable real-time tool building, full-modal understanding abilities, and a leap in long-context processing, allowing AI to understand interfaces and perform complex multi-step planning.

Currently, Qwen has deeply integrated into daily life and travel scenarios, connecting to 50 government services including visas and housing fund management, and can use Fliggy and AutoNavi to plan trips or even make calls to book restaurants. At the same time, the "Task Assistant" feature, which has human-like planning capabilities, has also started limited invitation testing, aiming to build Qwen App into the most powerful human-like AI assistant.
